Moroccan Roast Chicken with Optional Fig and Cherries


Big flavor and super easy to heat up for a quick dinner. This recipe makes roast chicken exciting. 

We brine organic chicken (salt, water) so it bakes up super moist. Then we rub it with organic fresh ginger, olive oil, and the super flavorful Ras el Hanout spice blend from Savory Spice Shop (nutmeg, sea salt, black pepper, ginger, cardamom, mace, cinnamon, ground allspice, turmeric and saffron)

Optional - We'll glaze it with a sauce we make out of plump organic red cherries we preserved, dried organic figs, a bit of raw, unfiltered Colorado honey, organic ginger, Ras el Hanout, and Real sea salt

Then we roast until tender and delicious.

Full order serves about 5-6 people with sides and is 8 pieces including breasts, drums, thighs, wings.   Half order is 4 pieces and serves 2-3.
