Decadent Chocolate Pecan Pie with Date Nut Crust (Paleo)


We think you may like this version better than the traditional one. Just sweet enough without being a sugar bomb. This is sweetened with dates and honey that give it a depth of flavor that corn syrup just can't.

And this pie's crust blows other pies out of the water - the dates and nuts add a depth of caramel-like flavor to the already caramel and chocolate filling. Blissful! (And also surprisingly sugar free, gluten free, and dairy free!)

Our filling includes unfiltered Colorado honey, organic eggs, pecans (that we soak, dehydrate, and toast for optimal digestion, texture and flavor), organic dates, unsweetened bakers chocolate, organic extra virgin coconut oil, and vanilla extract, and sea salt.

We take that filling and bake it cradled in a crust of soaked and dehydrated nuts including organic almonds, walnuts, pecans, organic dates and organic egg.
