Black Lentil Salad with Tangy Lemon & Optional Beef Sausage


Bright and refreshing with a nice grounding earthiness from the black lentils and a little kick to get your attention from our macerated red onion (soaked in lemon juice to make them tangy and more mild) and pungent mustard.

We soak then simmer organic baby beluga black lentils - a beautiful variety of small lentils with nice flavor and bite -  in a vinaigrette of minced organic red onion, extra virgin olive oil, organic lemon juice, a dash of mustard (organic mustard seed, organic apple cider vinegar), a dash of maple syrup and Real sea salt. Finished with organic baby spinach and fresh organic parsley leaves top it off.

Add (optional) grassfed beef Polish sausage for extra heartiness and flavor. Grass-Fed Beef, Water, Less than 2% of: Sea Salt, Vinegar, Spices including Paprika, Celery Powder, Garlic Powder, Cherry Powder.

Quart or Pint. Quart serves 3-4 as a main. Price includes $1.25 jar deposit.
