Thanksgiving Colorado Apple & Cranberry Chutney

This is sweet and sour topping is AMAZING on top of roast turkey or ham or beef - all of it! - bringing a brightness and complexity to the meat dish. It also complements lots of vegetarian items like our Butternut Mash excellently. And I, Susanna, think it's amazing as part of a sharp cheese and cracker platter. 

We make this with organic cranberries, Western Slope Ela Family Farms organic applesauce, and organic apples cooked with unfiltered Colorado honey,  organic apple cider vinegar, organic raisins, a touch of fresh organic ginger, and a hint of hibiscus for color.

Half Pint ( 1 cup), Pint or Quart. Pint serves 8.

Price includes $1.25 jar deposit. Keeps for at least a couple weeks.

Freezable in straight-sided mason jars (no curved shoulders) with appropriate head room or other freezer safe container. Simply run the frozen jars under warm water to slide out and heat or defrost first in fridge overnight.
