Citrus Roast Beets

One of our most favorite dishes is roasted beets.These are not at all like canned beets you may be familiar with. Their flavor is refreshing and lightly earthy. You will love them. 

In this version, we roast organic Red Wagon Farm beets with bright fresh squeezed (by us) organic orange and organic lemon juices, olive oil and a little sea salt until tender.

Delicious warmed or even on a salad. Perfect with our Triple Mustard Chicken. Yum!

Quart or Pint. Price includes $1.25 jar deposit. One Pint serves 3. Quart serves 4-6 as a side. 

Freezable in straight-sided mason jars (no curved shoulders) with appropriate head room or other freezer safe container. Simply run the frozen jars under warm water to slide out and heat or defrost first in fridge overnight.
