Baba Ganoush (Roasted Eggplant Dip)

There is nothing like eggplant this time of year! Freshly harvested local organic eggplant (from Kilt Farm) has less bitterness and lots of flavor. We roast, char, then puree the eggplant with tahini, extra virgin olive oil, fresh squeezed organic lemon juice, Savory Spice Shop smoked paprika and organic cumin, organic garlic, Real sea salt, and organic parsley. 

Watch out- it's addictive.

This makes a great snack on its own or spread on a sandwich with our Paleo bread or eaten with lots of crisp veggies.  

Half Pint (1 cup) or Pint (2 cups).  Price includes $1.25 jar deposit.

 Freezable in straight-sided mason jars (no curved shoulders) with appropriate head room or other freezer safe container. Simply defrost and enjoy.
