Curried Lentil Dal with Lime


Citrusy and full of spices (but mild, not spicy). If you like our Red Lentil Soup with Lime, you'll like this cousin, too.

It's warming and hearty with a synergy of flavors going on with a comforting texture.

Organic whole red lentils (more brown looking that split lentils we cook in filtered and pH balanced water, organic onion, mild curry powder from Savory Spice Shop (coriander, turmeric, ginger, fenugreek, anise, cumin, Saigon cinnamon, black pepper, regular yellow mustard, mace and cardamom), fresh squeezed (by us) organic lime juice, sea salt.

We finish it with a few leaves of fresh organic cilantro.

Freezes well.

Frozen comes in Pint or Pint and A Half (24 oz) sizes.  Price includes $1.25 jar deposit. 

Freezable in straight-edged mason jars with appropriate head room or other freezer safe container.

Simply run the jars under warm water to slide out the soup and heat in a saucepan.
